Dear Members:

We are extremely glad to inform you that with your encouragement, support and blessings, WHITELINE VARTHA, a very widely read Malayalam newspaper-journal of Mumbai-Pune is completing three years of existence. It is a very rare achievement for any regional journal in a metropolis like Mumbai.

Going a long way from atraditional, weekly news journal, Whiteline has diversified into more sophisticated electronic and television media. In addition to its weekly newspaper and its supplements, its weekly television broadcast, titled Amchi Mumbai, and a common electronic forum, named Whiteline World, for interaction in the areas of creative Malayalam and English writings, discussions on the current issuesand the like, have attracted many thousand readers, viewers and writers of Mumbai and many other towns/cities within the country and abroad. By any standard, this is no small feat! All this we could achieve only through the goodwill and co-operation of our Malayalee and non-Malayalee well-wishers. We are greatly indebted to each and every one of them for their moral, physical, literary and monetary support.

We are, therefore, very glad to inform you that the Whiteline Group proposes to celebrate its third anniversary, with you all, on Sunday, 15^th of July, 2012, at Savithribai Phule Hall, Dombivli.The anniversary celebrations would be between 10.00 am and 1.00 pm. This will further be followed by an afternoon session for literary interaction, like the Blogger’s Meet, Antakshari ,discussions, etc. from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm.

It would be a great pleasure to us, if you could kindly make it convenient to grace the occasion and join us in our celebrations.
